More Information
When an MMG
activity gets complicated and I say, “I don’t how we are going to do
this,” or, “We’ll never find enough volunteers,“ or “I don’t have any… .”
Bob always tells me, “MaryAnn, do what you can and ask the Blessed Mother
to take care of the details!” Like many of you, I’ve come to rely on
her doing just that. She knows what Her Son wants. If our
plans are in His Will she helps us bring them to fruition. If they
are not, nothing works out. Help from her always seems to have
evidence of her involvement. It either comes gentle as a loving
mother’s touch, or it’s a reaction fierce and swift, from a mother
protecting her children.
I am asking you to
recall a time(s) when Mary “took care of the details” for you or someone
you know. Since our focus is Mary’s intercession, please share
any story of her help. Stories
involving prodigal Catholics would be especially welcome. Writing
may range from a few sentences to whatever length it takes to tell your
story. In any case, your sharing will help all of us to increase our
Faith.
Your writing
skills are not important—our editors will help there. It’s your story
that counts. Ask the Blessed Mother to help you with the details. Write
it. Send it. If it is selected, I will contact you before printing it.
