Hi,
Everyone, We know God always has things well in hand! He reminded me of that again this morning! Bob and I have been praying for some time about what we need to do to continue to spread the word about the Marian Mantle Group to reach more hurting people in an effort to bring them peace, to gain more prayer warriors to join with all of us, and ultimately, help more lost sheep find their way back to the flock. Two of our board members have agreed to help us work out a plan. We have not had a chance to get together and discuss it with them but we have all been praying about it. This morning I got a phone call from a woman who, at the time, was traveling through the mountains of Montana with her over-the-road truck driver husband. She is 60 yrs old, has 8 children, and 19 grandchildren. Sadly, most of them are not practicing Catholics. She told me, “I have lots of time to pray, so I do. I pray for the people we pass on the road. When we stop for church I pray for the surviving relatives of those buried in that cemetery. I also pass out prayer cards and literature I think will help someone.” We talked for 45 minutes. She heard about us when her mom sent her information she picked up from a Silent Strength presentation a few months ago. I am sending her brown Pieta prayer cards and the first issue of our newsletter. She will be leaving them at churches across the country. In other words, while we were still praying about how to spread the word, God had things well under control in His Hands! The word of our prayer group is spreading across the land, and doing so in a way we would have imagined. He can do all things! He does do the impossible! Blessed be God! Blessed be His Holy Name! Please pray a special prayer for Georgia Darrow who had a stroke this morning. Georgia is the very dedicated leader of the Silent Strength Prayer Group at Holy Cross in Hutchinson, KS. I know everyone there is praying for her. Let us all join them in storming heaven with prayers for her complete recovery. May God bless all of us and grant us His Peace.

Love Mary!... She is loveable, faithful, constant. She will never let herself be
outdone in love, but will ever remain supreme. If you are in danger, she will
hasten to free you. If you are troubled, she will console you. If you are sick,
she will bring you relief. If you are in need, she will help you. She does not
look to see what kind of person you have been. She simply comes to a heart that
wants to love her. She comes quickly and opens her merciful heart to you,
embraces you and consoles and serves you. She will even be at hand to accompany
you on the trip to eternity. ~St Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother |
