++WHAT'S NEW AT THE MARIAN MANTLE GROUP?
++MESSAGE FROM THE COORDINATOR
Hi,
Everyone,
Last Saturday I had been asked to give my talk at a local church. In his
concern for the well-being of the many aged who attend, on Friday afternoon
Father Mike cancelled the event due to the weather.
Friday evening I came down with stomach flu and spent most of the night
lying on the bathroom floor. Even as miserable as I felt, in the early
hours of Saturday morning I had to laugh about the situation--it really
didn't matter that I was too sick to hold up my head, much less speak at a
church. God had already taken care of things so that the church was not
left without a speaker for their celebration. Then, just in case the
speaker wondered about her importance in it all, she'd been given an
opportunity to stop and ponder her place in things--looking up at the
bathroom stool! Hmmm! Could this an illustration of "When God is the only
one who can make the meeting, you realize God is the only one you needed
there in the first place?" Let us place all our cares in front of Him.
Happy Valentines Day!
May we all be uplifted and renewed as more people join us so that we
are moved to continue to persevere in prayer for our prodigals. May our
prayers be answered as God wills.
Peace,
MaryAnn

GOD'S WORD FOR US
Jeremiah 29:12 "Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I
will listen to you."
HE GIVETH MORE -by
--Annie Johnson Flint
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary know unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.
